Black Market Cannabis Thrives In Los Angeles

Los Angeles has started to crack down on the myriad of illegal dispensaries throughout the city but shop owners are continuing to run their businesses even with the threats of arrests or fines. Owners site high taxes and waiting on permits as reasons for the underground shops. Interesting, the director of California’s branch of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws says this is exclusively an LA problem that’s not seen in Long Beach or San Francisco.
