A Neuroscientist Sees Potential In Cannabis For Alzheimer’s Treatments

Dr. Ethan Russo, a Seattle-based neuroscientist and the director of research and development at the International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute, is doing some interesting research into the relationship between cannabis and treating Alzheimer’s. The disease is resistant to pharmaceuticals so the possibility that cannabis might have a positive impact is one many families are eager for. He’s hoping that his findings can help move testing into the clinical arena.
